I agree with Christopher and Sheri. The reading of ph would be a marvelous addition. I have blueberries which need an acidic condition but I need to know the effects of their drain off in order to choose plants to place around them. The soil tester Christopher uses is a good idea but is bother. I can take "testings" to my extension agent who will send them for soil readings. How often should I do that? and from how many areas around the "homestead"?

Id say I gladly give up air temp for soil temp. I can get air temp from my outdoor thermometer.

how about the ability to search forums?
i too would like to be able to have a list of plants that are not currently in the database. i dont necessarily need to add the information for the plant other than the name. then, at a later login, the plant library could have a msg that a new plant had been added to the library that matched a previous entry for me. i could at that time, add the plant to the library or tick a box that it wasn't an exact match. otherwise, im having to maintain two lists of plants
the Easybloom definiatly needs to upgrade for ph testing.
Currently I move my EasyBloom around to different beds on different days. If they had Wi-FI, I'd just get about ten of them and leave them out there! I'd connect their wi-fi input to our Indigo home and drip automation system, and water the given bed when it needed it...

Does Anyone besides me think a soil temp would be great to have on this. The air temp is good but for early spring planting soil temp would also be helpful.
can you add info re: Banksia, grevillia, etc. as they are catching on in CA and I've decided to base my yard around them
