Plant Care
Planting:

If suckers are present at the base of the plant, divide in spring. Leaf cuttings can be rooted in spring through autumn.
Let it be known that taking leaf cuttings of variegated varieties will produce offspring that lack variegation.

Plant Growth:

Can be grown outdoors where winters are mild. When grown indoors, they can withstand fluctuating temperatures.

Blooming:

Although these plants do flower, they are known for their foliage.

Soil and Irrigation:

Tolerates many soil types and long periods of little to no irrigation. In winter, irrigate sparingly.

Fertilization:

Provide a half-strength fertilizer solution monthly during active growing seasons.

Pests:

Prone to vine weevil grubs, spider mites and mealybugs.
