Plant Care
Planting:

Plant seeds in spring when temperatures do not drop below 59°F (15°C).  Seeds can be planted in fall, but the seedlings should be protected from winter chill.  Stem cuttings should be taken in early summer.

Plant Growth:

Provide a well-ventilated area for Milkworts with shade from the sun if it gets too hot.

Soil and Irrigation:

Does best with sharply-draining soil that is moderately fertile and rich with organic matter.  When actively growing, water freely.  During winter, water sparingly.

Fertilization:

Fertilize once per month when the plant is actively growing.  Use a balance liquid fertilizer.

Pests:

Susceptible to aphids and whiteflies.
